USA Network has announced three Raw preemptions for 2006. The preemptions are:
Raw will not air on February 13, 2006 due to the Westminster Dog Show; it will be shown Wednesday, February 15.
Raw will not air August 28, 2006 due to the US Open; it will not be rescheduled.
Raw will not air September 4, 2006 due to the US Open; it will be shown Friday, September 8.
That could be why WWE trademarked "Friday Night Raw". If Smackdown is still on UPN, it looks like WWE will go head to head with itself.
Does it matter that RAW goes head to head with Smackdown on a Friday night? By then both shows are taped and the spoilers are all over the net. This will kill ratings. If it's a nice Friday night are you really staying home watching tv or are you doing something out and about? Take tonight, I already know what will happen on SD so I sure won't be sitting at home watching it.

I knew Raw would be pre-empted or moved to another night because of that Dog Show they have every year on USA and of course The U.S. Open, it happened every year when Raw was on USA. At least on Spike TV they are never pre-empted for anything. I am gonna miss that..

I will miss it as well. If you read the latest Ross Report on WWE.com, JR mentions that it will be a great move for the WWE. I don't see how. VKM and Dick Enberg (NBC) are great friends and I'm thinking thats why they got back together.

I read the latest Ross Report and I agree with you Spinebuster I don't see how moving back to USA is a good move for the WWE. I remember that Vince and Dick Enberg are great friends. It is still a shame that WWE is going to be pre-empted so many time. I also read that the WWE is thinking of bringing back Saturday Night's Main Event to NBC that would be cool...

I really do think it was a mistake to move RAW to USA. The commercial breaks happen in the middle of matches, more so than they did on Spike TV. Is Sunday night Heat on anymore? I just liked it much better when it was on Spike. Oh yea, what do you all think of UFC? I love it!
